About the Artist, Owner…

Inspired by Kevin Aucoin, the worlds top leading Makeup Artist, Seher has the ability to transform you from boring to breathtaking, from average to appealing. We invite you to enter Seher’s world of Glitz ‘n’ Glamour at Seher Studio.

Young, and talented, Seher envisions her work in a unique utmost desirable way. Growing up in Toronto, art has always been Seher’s first and last passion. Her sense of style coupled with her professionalism brings out the best in her work.

Dedicated and devoted to her field, she graduated with a diploma in Creative & Corrective Makeup Design & Hairstyling from Toronto ’s top makeup school, The School of Professional Makeup Ltd. She thus enabled herself to learn professional hands on techniques in Western and Eastern Bridal Makeup, TV, media, fashion runways, stage makeup, Glamour Magazine photo shoots and events. Furthermore, she appeared on Tele Latino Network and discussed the trends of makeup for ‘Trucco & Sebastian’ for the year 2007 with WELLA”S top Hairstylist, Antonio Quintieri. Still striving to be the best, she networked with talented artists who then gave her the opportunity to show off her makeup skills in music videos such as by Equal MC “ teri meri gal ban gayi”. Seher as ambitious as she is did not stop there. As luck had it, she affiliated herself with Lesonne Bridals, a wedding planning company, where she continues to make brides and clients look & feel good about themselves. The company involved her in colossal south eastern fashion shows such as Kismet, Suhaag and Kohinoor Fashion Shows making her talent well known.

Seher believes in changing times and trends and bases her image on what is considered appropriate in today’s fashion. “Nobody likes the old look with the caked-on foundation and excessive eye shadow” says Seher. “Makeup should look beautiful, not overdone.”

Her work blends both Eastern and Western, keeping it subtle yet striking, and with an implication of Indian/Pakistani & Western Flare.

Her experience also includes working as a pro on call artist for MAC Cosmetics. Seher attends all seminars and beauty workshops and updates her beauty bible to stay well-up-to-date with the latest techniques and trends & the newest products.

Seher meets every face as a challenge. Devoted and detail-orientated, her work can be considered flawless. Seher’s talents are valued and acknowledge. She demonstrates imagination, vitality and energy that continue to elevate and shape the profile of the Worlds Makeup Industry.

Seher also later attainted her diploma in Esthetician/Spa Management from Humber College and graduated with an Honour standing diploma in a business field.

With her enthusiasm and effort, Seher has made her place in the Cosmetic Beauty Industry. She now envisions herself in extending her business nationally and internationally making her Talent and business well known.

Seher’s Tip of the Day:

To achieve that 60’s eye liner look , try using an angled flat brush instead of the eye liner wand from the bottle. Draw in the edges first, then fill in the middle. Trick: the faster you do it, the straighter the line. Try practicing on your hand first. J
